Big, Healthy Baby

Today we had Emersen's 6 month appointment. She once again got shots which she handled like a champ. Here are her stats in her 6th month of life.

Height: 28 inches (97%)
Weight: 19 lbs (90-95%)
Head Circumference: 44 cm (75-90%)

Poor little baby

After a rough weekend on Nate and I with a generally unhappy baby, we found out she has her 1st ear and eye infection today. The doctor has her on some antibiotics and eye drops and will hopefully be her happy self once again in a few days. Today she stayed home with Nate all day, but the doctor said she can go back to daycare tomorrow since she is not contagious.

So no new pics to post from the weekend due to the amount of snot coming out of her nose, but Christmas cards were mailed today so everyone should be getting them soon!

Jumperoo!

It's taken a few weeks but she really loves her jumperoo. I love that it keeps her entertained, but that damn music is stuck in my head all the time!



This weekend Emersen seemed to master sitting by herself. For the past week she has been getting closer and closer to sitting on her own, but it usually would end with her falling backward, sideways or on her face. But today something clicked and she just sat there, it's amazing how quickly babies can master something. I am hoping to get a video or picture up of this soon.
